Introducing an ideal replacement NAV/COMM for your inoperative Bendix King, ARC or Narco radio that could also be used as a reliable back-up VOR/ILS/COMM to your GPS NAV/COMM. Our radios are built to last and have sunlight readable, digital flip-flop tuning with up to 50 frequency storage in both NAV and COMM.
We didn’t reinvent the wheel or add features you don’t want or need. Our systems offer 760 COMM and 200 NAV channels. Easy 25kHz spacing tuning knobs allow you to choose a frequency to enter—and simple press to flip-flop buttons let you move standby to active in a split second.
You also get a convenient VOR identifier button that lets you hear the Morse code station identifier for only as long as you need it.
Any pilot can remove your Bendix King, ARC, or Narco unit in minutes, clean the connectors with a non-toxic solvent (if needed) and install your new TKM NAV/COMM legally in 20 seconds. All you need is an Allen wrench or long-shaft screwdriver.
The MX170C is designed to be electrically and mechanically interchangeable with the Bendix King KX170/KX175 series of NAV/COMM radios.
